A restoration of the grandfather clock that belonged to the most influential TBHS Rector, Bill Thomas, is proposed.

The THSOBA Auckland Branch has expressed interest in seeing the clock returned to its former glory .

It’s almost 90 years ( 1935) since Bill Thomas stepped down as Rector. The clock is one of the few tangible items that marks this hugely influential Rector’s presence in the school.

There is likely to be some debate as to where the refurbished clock should stand.  Suggestions invited !
