TBHS Rugby has had a hugely successful 2021 rugby season.

We take this opportunity to thank all our wonderful volunteers over this year. Without you it would be so much harder to gain all the positive results we have. 

The 1st XV finished third in the Crusaders 1st XV competition. This is a tremendous result and our highest placing since 2017. 

The 2nd XV won both the Canterbury Country and South Canterbury U18 titles. Both games were close but real heart showed through in each game for us to be deserved winners. 

In the U16.5 Grade our U15A Colts team won the competition with a great win over Aoraki in the final while the Tigers were third and the Lions fifth. With seven teams in the grade this is a positive season overall in U16.5. 

In the U14.5 Grade we mixed our teams as per normal and remarkably, three of our teams reached the semis. With nine teams in the grade this is incredible. Unfortunately, the Cheetahs missed out on the semis, but the Jaguars ended up in fourth, Leopards third but were first after round robin, and the Panthers came first in a great final beating Roncalli. Overall, in 2021, Timaru Boys' High School won every local grade. Great work everyone.
