Held in Gore on 7 April, the South Island Secondary Schools Motocross Championships saw six of our young men travel down on the Friday to compete in conditions that were extremely muddy, with the area having experienced ½ inch of rain before the event.

Tom Waldron (pictured left) and Jonty Collins were the top performing riders of our team, with Tom finishing 4th in the 16-19 year old competitive class, and Jonty finishing 6th in the 12-15 year old competition class.

Sam Milne, Toby Porter, Finn Kerr and Bailey Kingsbury all rode well and enjoyed their two days of competition.
