The final four days of the holidays were spent on Dunedin’s Signal Hill with ten mountain bikers carving up some muddy berms, ‘sending it’ over some massive jumps and racing in sleet, hail and wind.

Although not the best weather for spectators, the ten boys were happy, even with some massive ‘offs’ down the slippery slopes and rocky, rooty trails.

We left with some fantastic results for Liam Barclay, 3rd in U20 Enduro and 3rd overall (Enduro, Downhill and XC) and Cathal Guiney 3rd in U20 Cross Country.

The team of riders also included: Neil Paver, Stephen Garner, Ben Schikker, Hone Walker, Pero Forman, Angus Hyde, Josh Mills, Aaron Jefferson.
