The first phase is the preparation of the existing tennis court surface on the North Street side of the gym: laying the turf, providing a storage facility and the provision of gear i.e. Basketball, Hockey and Futsal goals, as well as Tennis nets.

This has been enabled by on-going fundraising and donations, including a generous contribution from sponsors Peter and Karen Walsh.

The first phase will start in Spring at the end of Term 3 due to the necessity of warmer weather to lay the turf. With all going to plan, the facility will be ready for use early in Term 4 with the next stage  of the provision of lights to increase the use of the facility to hopefully follow in 2020.

With this in mind there is a proposed school-wide Workday on Friday June 28th (the Teacher Only Day) with the proceeds raised going towards the gear and lighting for a facility that will be used extensively by the Physical Education Department and across a range of Sporting Codes.
