Held in Wellington 19-23 April, TBHS had two swimmers competing in this high level competition: Thomas Kyle and Alex Tudgey.

Thomas’ best swim was the 200m Individual Medley where he made a final, after a fantastic heat swim, and finished with a ranking of 9th in New Zealand. Thomas also swam a personal best in the 400m freestyle, and the 200m freestyle.

Alex gained a placing of 11th, and was first reserve for the final in the 100m butterfly. He swam a personal best in the 100m backstroke, the 50m freestyle (where he finished 3rd in his heat) and the 50m butterfly. He had a very successful meet for his first time at this level.
