Congratulations to Jonathon Smitham who competed in the Special Olympics South Canterbury SS Swimming Event, recently held at at CBay.

Jonathon came first in the 25m Freestyle, 50m Backstroke and 50m Freestyle. He also came second in the 4x25m Freestyle Relay.

A number of TBHS students volunteered to assist on the day, impressing the organisers with their efforts - their interaction, encouragement and cheering for the contestants was much appreciated, and helped make for a successfully run event. Thank you to those boys who assisted – you were a real credit to yourselves and represented Timaru Boys’ High School well.
