PB4L

TBHS —

As we start a new school year it is a great opportunity to revisit the school’s PB4L system and the POWER values that guide our behaviour across the school.

2016 sees a continuation of the successful PB4L reward system, with ongoing support from a number of organisations in the community. Additionally, an Early Bird attendance monitoring system is being introduced as a new school wide initiative. At this point in the year, new habits and routines are formed, and the goal of Early Bird is to encourage punctual attendance as a vital life skill for our students. All students must be at school, prepared and ready to start the day at 08.45 (except Thursday at 09.15).

We hope to receive your support in developing effective morning routines with your sons, as this will benefit them during their time in school, and establishes one of the multitude of life skills that we hope students will take from their time at Timaru Boys’ High School.
