We are very proud of several of our young men who hit the headlines recently, receiving positive praises for their help in rescuing one of our senior citizens who was in strife on her mobility scooter.
Mrs Shirley Hunter contacted the newspaper wishing to connect with the young men who had come to her aide when her scooter lost power.
Jack Dockrill, Tom Sutton, Richard Irving and Matt Kennedy were recognised by Age Concern New Zealand as being worthy recipients of an Age Concern Champion Award.
Well done boys – your attitude embodies the school POWER values: Pride, Our Responsibility, Willing participants, Earning respect, Right Attitude.
