ICAS Science Exam Congratulations
TBHS — August 8, 2018
Five students from Timaru Boys’ High School achieved outstanding results when they participated in the 2018 ICAS Science exam.
Those students whose achievements were outstanding were rewarded with Certificates of Merit, Credit, Distinction.
ICAS Science tests students’ skills and knowledge in Science and provides insight into students’ understanding and thinking skills.
The following boys have been awarded certificates in 2018:
- Josh Earnshaw Year 11 gains a Distinction Certificate which places him in the top 4% of students in New Zealand and the Pacific region
- Thomas Corbett Year 10 gains a Credit Certificate which places him in the top 12% of students
- William Jack-Hydes Year 10 gains a Credit Certificate which places him in the top 25% of students
- Neil Meyer Year 10 gains a Merit Certificate which places him in the top 37% of students
- Ben Walker Year 10 gains a Merit which places him in the top 37% of students
