Success in the South Island Swimming competition🏊‍♂️🏊‍♂️

Lachlan Crawford took part in the Makos South Island Secondary Schools Open Water Swimming competition onSaturday. 

He swam in the 5km event crossing the harbour from Wainui to Akaroa in a time of 1 hour and 22 minutes flat, Lachie was the first 16-18yr old to finish the race in very challenging weather conditions.

A great effort Lachie we enjoy showcasing our students triumphs outside of school.
