Caroline Bay Relays
TBHS — November 28, 2019
Tuesday 12 November was the second season of the Caroline Bay Relays that plays host to six different races.
Timaru Boys' entered six teams in the Year 9/10 race that saw a "race within a race" battle to determine the top Year 9 Tree Class. Our Year 10 team of William Talbot, Pero Forman, Sam Wilson and Toby Clemett had a real tussle over the four 1900m legs and ended up in 2nd place, just 6 seconds behind the winning Roncalli team.
A quality effort from 9 Matai - Baxter Mason, Corban Meyer, Charlie Paul, and Will Hutchison -saw them place 3rd overall and just 3 seconds behind our Year 10 team.
Congratulations to all who took part and to Matai for being the top Year 9 class.
