The Year 12 PACE Hospitality class have developed a Senior Food Bag for a senior citizen living on their own.
As part of the project, they had to interview the client to find out any specific dietary requirements, likes, dislikes and analyse the client's cooking skills and abilities. From here they have had a lot of challenges whilst trialling, testing, developing and packaging a main meal of the day.
The final product was presented to the client and each developer explained their dishes and gave helpful hints on safe cooking and storage of leftovers. The Senior Food Bag was gratefully received and the class is looking forward to feedback in the future.
