Rowing "Have a Go" Programme
TBHS — September 5, 2018
There is an opportunity to have a go at rowing or coxswaining and see if the sport is for you.
Take the opportunity to row on Sundays at 3pm, Mondays 4pm, Tuesdays at 4:30pm, and Thursdays at 6:30am - all at Saltwater Creek. We realise some of you are still playing your winter sport so there are different days to choose from.This ends with a novice camp held at Twizel (at the end of the school holidays) 12-14 October.
Rowing offers
● A great team sport
● Family orientated sport with regattas (mainly in Twizel, Maadi Cup is at Lake Karapiro this year)
● Fitness and friendships
● Training during the week is mainly held at Timaru Rowing Club and Saltwater Creek
● Chance to represent your school at a national event
