Three weeks into the final term and it’s ‘all on’.

On Friday 13 November 2015 Timaru Boys’ High School will hold its junior school WORK DAY. Junior students (Years 9 & 10) across the school will be seeking paid employment for the day.

The end of Term 3 was hectic in the Outdoor Education Department. 

The Otago University Senior Science Quiz was sat in June by six Year 12 students and seven Year 13 students. 

Sister Cities Timaru invites applications from Secondary School Students to represent the Timaru District on an escorted Educational and Cultural Exchange to Eniwa Hokkaido, Japan.  The exchange visit is planned for late June 2016 and will be for 3 weeks, 3 students will be chosen.

The Lions Hockey team in 2015 comprised a mixture of hostel boys ranging from Year 9 to Year 12.

On Sunday 25 October, six members of the TBHS Robotics club attended a test and trial scrimmage at CPIT in Christchurch. The aim of the day was to prepare their robot designs for the new National game called ‘Nothing but Net’.

On 16th  and 17th of October, a team of Year 12 students took part in the South Island Grass Kart Challenge at King’s High School in Dunedin.

Jack Sands represented Timaru Boys' at this event which was held in Hamilton.  

Congratulations to our Golf Croquet team who played exceptionally well at the Aoraki Secondary Schools Golf Croquet Championship on 18 October.

Congratulations to Caleb Cameron who, as one of three placegetters from the Aoraki Secondary Schools Chess Champs, travelled to Auckland for the Chess Power National Invitational Chess Championship.

Timaru Boys’ High school has introduced a school wide programme that reinforces positive behaviour and fosters life skills for our young men.  The programme is called “Positive Behaviour For Learning” (PB4L).

The Timaru Boys' High School Arts Prizegiving was held on Wednesday 14 October.

Congratulations to the winners at this year's winter sports prizegiving held in Hogben Hall on Wednesday 21 October.
