TeenAg 2017

We wish Cameron Lyon and Jack Millar all the best for the 2017 TeenAg competition on 6-8 July in Fielding, where they are representing the Aorangi Region.

The boys will first compete in modules that cover the following topics: Northfuels/Southfuels, Lincoln, Ravensdown, New Holland, Dairy NZ, On Farm Safety and Farmlet.

They will have the opportunity of putting their handyman skills to the test during the face off, followed by a written exam which is set by a lecturer at Lincoln University. As this exam is an entry level Farm Management/Agri-business paper, it will not be easy. Then finally they will be given a speech topic and have one day to write and plan their speech which will be presented to a judging panel.

We would like to thank their families and the following businesses that have kindly sponsored Cameron and Jack.

Carrfields, Honda Country, Plains Irrigation, Culnady Farm, Temuka Transport, Keith Malthus Contracting, Brad Munro Contracting, Farmlands Temuka and Hydraulink Mid Canterbury.
