This year TGHS once again entered a team in the local Jump Jam Extravaganza.

This year our team was coached by Holly Turner, Olivia Hinton, Ashlee Hinton, Rebecca Kidd, Asha Tyree and Keira Doran. It is wonderful to see our senior students taking on these leadership roles as they organised costumes, choreography, rehearsals and communications.

Students involved gave up many of their lunchtimes in the lead up to the festival and they represented the school with pride on the day, supporting younger teams and performing to a very high standard.

Sport Canterbury have determined that the Extravaganza is no longer to be a competition, so there were no places awarded on the day and no feedback provided on their performance - though Mrs Rush felt they put on an excellent performance that rated highly on a slick performance and tidy presentation. The group worked together as a unit and were a pleasure to accompany on the day.
