The House Update

The House —

Term 4 is always an exciting term at The House, our seniors begin their exams, we farewell our Year 13 boarders and our juniors head to camp.

Senior prizegiving was held on the 31 October and we were blown away by our boarders accomplishments. A huge congratulations to Emma Ross and Rachel Tobeck who have been selected as our Head and Deputy Head of House for 2023!

The term started with our last House Representatives meeting for the year. The team of 10 boarders have been the student voice, created fun events in the evenings and represented the hostel in the community. Together they reflected on their year over some pizza.

The last event our House Rep team ran was Spooky Tuesday. All boarders dressed up in their scariest costumes and took part in tug of war, volleyball and basketball competitions. Year 12 proudly demolished every year group in the tug of war.

The House held their annual Year 13 leavers dinner two weeks ago to celebrate and farewell our Year 13 boarders as they head into the next phase of their lives. Congratulations on finishing High School Libby, Rachana, Penny, Heidi and Faith - You will be missed at The house!

Well done to the following boarders who received awards on the night:

Diligence in Prep: Phoebe Harbutt, Tessa Macdonald

Most Merit Awards 2022: Poppy Radford

Spirit Award: Madilyn Harmer, Sophie Delaney, Amelia Geary, Anastasia Skilling, Heidi Bee

Kitchen Whizz: Annie Shearer
