We recently held an Inspiring the Future event with our Year 10 students.

The event is aimed at exposing students to a diverse range of career pathways and breaking down any stereotypes that may exist around different careers. A huge thank you to our eight fantastic role models (including three ex-TGHS students): Jonathan Swindells - Aviation Engineer at Aeronavics; Shannon Graham - Apprentice Electrician at Damon Smith Electrical; Mitchell McCarthy - Mental Health Nurse at Te Whatu Ora; Maleisha Eddington-Bower - Asphalt Team at Fulton Hogan; Inez Wilson-Harding - Junior Environmental Consultant at Irricon; Zach Mills - Production Technician at South Pacific Sera; Paige Thornley - Fire Fighter at FENZ Timaru, Ginny Cabreana - Counsellor at Waimataitai, Roncalli & Centre Care.
