Our Year 10’s attended a Digital Technology Workshop especially for girls, run by Code Club Aotearoa on the 21st of March.

The girls participated in several computer programming activities, coding programs for robots and miniature computers. They also heard from some great female role models in the industry who are computer scientists working for companies like Microsoft. There were several South Canterbury schools who attended the event including primary and high schools. These girls will now be able to apply some of the skills they learnt in class activities.
