As Term 1 kicks off, we are excited to introduce a group of international students who have recently joined our school.

Their arrival marks the beginning of a new chapter for both them and our school community. These students bring with them a wealth of diverse cultural experiences, languages, and perspectives that will help shape a more vibrant and globalized learning environment.

For many international students, joining a new school can feel like a major adjustment. They are not only adapting to new academic expectations, but also to a different educational system, language challenges and social norms. Despite these challenges, their enthusiasm and eagerness to engage in new experiences are inspiring.

To help our international students settle in, our school has implemented various initiatives to ensure they feel welcomed and supported. Peer buddies, often from the same year group, are paired with new students to help them navigate the campus, understand school routines, and make new friends. Teachers have also been instrumental in ensuring that the learning environment is inclusive and responsive to their needs, whether it's through additional language support or adjustments in classroom activities.

As we move through Term 1, we look forward to watching our international students thrive, both academically and socially. Their resilience, curiosity, and willingness to adapt are qualities that inspire us all, and we are proud to have them as part of our school family.
