Lily Weir, a year 9 student is the third generation Weir to race in the NZPBA circuit racing.

Lilys 1st race is at Lake Hood on 20th November then we start to go around the country both north and south islands. Her events are in Mangakino, Tauranga, Taupo, Rotoiti and Wanaka. There is also plenty of club events also.

She is competing in the junior series which consists of around 12 or 13 other juniors around the country driving boats with a 30hp mercury which Lily is driving around about 76km on water.

Her dream is to eventually race in the hydroplane series.
