Last week some of our Senior A & B Netball girls were invited to a training session with members of the Canterbury Tactix Netball team.

Three players from the Trident Homes Tactix came down to run a training session for aspiring netballers. Students from Craighead Diocesan School, Roncalli College, Timaru Girls' High School & Geraldine High School NZ had the opportunity to learn and train with these professionals. After the training session, the players spoke about their life at school, pathways into netball and what they had done to prepare themselves for careers outside of sport. Thank you so much to Kimiora Poi, Te Paea Selby-Rickit and Aliyah Dunn for giving their time to run this great session and talk with the students.
