South Island Athletics

The South Island Secondary School Athletics was held in Invercargill on the 1st and 2nd of April where we had Bella and Holly Thin competing.

Holly and Bella achieved fantastic results against the best secondary school athletes in the South Island!

Holly - 3rd in the 200m, 3rd in the 400m and 6th in the 100m

Bella - 5th in the 200m, 8th in the Long Jump, 4th in the 100m

Aoraki Secondary School Golf Championships

The Aoraki Secondary School Golf Championships was held at the Pleasant Point Golf Club on Monday 27th April.

Annie Shearer playing off an 11 handicap took out the girls event shooting 83 to win by one shot.

NZ Secondary School Triathlon Championships.

The NZ Secondary Schools Triathlon Championships was held on Thursday 30th April in Wanaka.

Massive congratulations to our TGHS team of Emily Toomey, Holly Turner and Brodie Young who have just finished in 2nd place in the Under 19 National Championships - Legends!

Aoraki Secondary School Futsal

The Aoraki Secondary School Futsal Festival was held on Wednesday 29th as part of Summer Tournament week.

With the temperature reaching a balmy 6 degrees outside we were thankful we were playing indoors at the stadium!

Team TGHS played some great footie over the day playing against predominately boys teams. The girls never backed down and made the boys teams work hard for their wins.
