2019 Mayoral Welcome
Every year the International Students around the region are welcomed to the area by the Mayor.
They are all entertained by various performances from local schools from kapahaka to jazz bands, always concluding with a shared kai.
This year was no different, our Kapahaka group were kindly asked to perform showcasing haka and waiata demonstrating their many talents.

- 2nd Item our school song embraces our values Te Matauranga o te ao

Muriel D’Souza represented our school presenting a speech introducing the country origins of our international students.
This event allows international students to meet up with their friends who may be at other schools and to share experiences with other international students in the region.
It is a welcoming that is enjoyed by all and not just for the food!
