On Friday the 12th of August, the annual Timaru Girls' High School Senior Ball (Once upon a time) was held in the Nora Dickie Hall.

The ball was well attended by our own Year 12 & 13 students and their partners as well as some special invited guests. The ball saw 155 fabulously dressed students dance and eat their way to an excellent evening of fun and photos.

A big thanks goes out to the 2022 ball committee for their time and effort for organising and decorating the ball, which was enjoyed by all. We also would like to say a big thank you to all staff that helped contribute to the success of the ball including Mrs Shaw, Mrs Quinonez and Mrs White.

A special mention to Katrina and the hostel kitchen staff from for the fantastic food. The ball committee agree this was a key component to the success of the ball.

Also, thank you to the teachers who supervised on the night and Year 11 students who helped Mrs Shaw. 

Lastly, thank you to the hostel parents for giving up their evening to act as the security for the ball.
