The Timaru Girls’ High School PTA (Parent Teacher Association) have completed another successful Grocery Grab fundraiser for 2022.

The PTA would like to express their gratitude to both Countdown Browne Street, and Noel Leeming for making this fundraiser such a success for the third year running. The student who sells the most tickets, gets a Noel Leeming voucher to the value of $800. This is a popular prize and some of the girls get fiercely motivated to win!

The lucky raffle ticket winners get to race around Countdown aisles for two minutes filling their trolley up with chosen goods upto the value of $500. The money raised from this fundraiser subsidizes every Year 10 student for the cost of their end of year camp, plus a Year 9 student is sponsored by the PTA every year to provide significant assistance with start of year expenses.

Congratulations to Barry and Valerie Angel who were this year’s winners! They were great sports who really got into the spirit of it on the night. Thank you also to the wonderfully committed and passionate group of parents from the TGHS PTA.
