A huge congratulations to ex TGHS student, Jorja Miller, on her debut for the NZ Sevens Black Ferns.

Jorja travelled to South Africa with the team to gain a silver medal in the Sevens Rugby World Cup this month.

There were a number of TGHS rugby players, students and staff following the event and cheering Jorja on.

We are super proud of her achievements thus far and are excited to see what the future holds for this talented young wahine.

It is so exciting that women's rugby now has a professional pathway and we are seeing one of our own local girls climb that ladder and show what hard work and determination can do.

So from all of us here at TGHS - well done Jorja!
