Vaiaso o le Gagana Samoa (Samoan Language Week) is part of an annual series of Pacific languages throughout Aotearoa New Zealand.

Our Pasifika group celebrated Samoa Language Week during assembly on Wednesday, May 29th. The Pasifika girls worked very hard to put together the items they performed, and it was amazing to see how much potential and effort they had put into it. The Samoan girls were each delegated a role from choreographer to presenter and it all came together with a group effort. We received much positive feedback from so many people within our kura and the Timaru community.

A special thank you to Ms Luyten, who has always been our strongest supporter and has helped us in organising this program.
