Welcome to Timaru Girls' for the 2025 School year! We have many exciting career events planned for Term 1 to help you explore options for your future and pathway into further study, training, or employment.

A reminder that our careers team consists of Mrs Jo Shaw ( Careers Adviser) and Mrs Kay Kelliher (Careers/Gateway Coordinator) who are located in “Whare Whakamanawa” (Guidance Hub) which is behind the Library. 

We are available to help students with a range of things including:

  • Interview Preparation

  • Tertiary & Scholarship applications

  • Gateway programme

  • Work experience

  • STAR courses 

  • Ara Dual Enrolment courses

This is a valuable resource with informaiton on thousands of jobs. Every student has access to Career Central https://careercentral.school.nz/through their School Google account.
