PTA Update

We received an email from a senior student asking for our financial help towards running the breakfast club as we did in 2023.  We were all in support of this and we have provided Countdown Vouchers in support of this.

The Grocery Grab Raffle is not going ahead this year because of our Ethel and Bethel Fundraiser we did ask for a lot of donations earlier in the year and every business, family and individual is struggling at the moment in one way or another and Term 3 is busy enough for the Administration Team at this time of year so we will relook at this Fundraiser next year.

With this in mind we have decided to help out the Presbyterian Food Bank working in with their South Canterbury Week.  More information to come.

We are looking at getting the students on board with Jones Family Cheese Fundraiser.  These will make excellent Christmas Presents so keep this in mind.  We will have order forms out from the 9th September and hope to have all orders back in by the 4th October with delivery week of 13th October.

It's scholarship time again so letters will be going out to Primary Schools soon.

We have made a sizeable donation to the Food Technology Department to purchase a new fridge of their choice.

Jeanine Cassidy has formerly resigned as Chairperson and Leola Wilson has been co-opted in as Chairperson working alongside Jeanine for the remainder of the year. We would like to give Jeanine a HUGE shout out and THANK YOU for all the work she has done for our students, staff and community. Jeanine you have been an awesome chairperson and a valued member of our committee.
