Parent/Teacher Learning Meetings - Wednesday 25th March (School finishes at 12.30pm)
This year we are introducing an additional face to face meeting for whānau to meet with teachers to discuss how students have settled into school and their progress so far.
From the feedback we received through our community survey last year, the face to face learning conversations will be held earlier this year. We have introduced these Term 1 conferences to allow parents, students and teachers time to discuss how learners have settled into the new school year and how they are progressing during this initial period.
School will close early (12.30pm) to allow for meetings.
Bookings will open on Monday 9th March.
A written report will be sent home in Term 2, covering academic levels and next learning steps.
Students will participate actively in this first conference, sharing their learning highlights to date, and their teacher will discuss their learning and how parents can help at home.
A reminder that teachers are also available throughout the year if you have anything you would like to discuss outside of the parent, student teacher conferences. Have a chat and arrange a time to meet or send an email to your child's teacher.
There will be another opportunity to meet face to face in Term 3.
