⚽️Football Fever at Titirangi Primary School ⚽️
Football is by far the most loved sport at Titirangi Primary School, and this Tuesday was a true celebration of our passion for the game!
We took 89 players to the Inter School Girls and Year 3/4 Western Districts Football Tournament at Crum Park, Green Bay.
It was an incredible day filled with teamwork, sportsmanship, and memorable moments.
A massive thank you to our amazing parent community, who made this event possible by stepping in as drivers, coaches, managers, and enthusiastic sideline supporters. Your dedication, amidst busy schedules, doesn’t go unnoticed!
A shout-out to our ex-pupils from GEIS—Sophie, Isobel, Mirabelle, Jimmy, Leo, Cooper, and Patrick—who returned to help as referees and managers. Many of you still have siblings here, and it’s heartwarming to see you giving back to our school.
Our teams did us proud with their fantastic performances:
Girls B - 7th
Girls C - 8th
Year 3 Girls - 3rd
Year 3/4 Boys - 4th
Year 4 Boys - 5th
Year 3 Boys - 6th
A special congratulations to our Girls A team, who won the Premier Grade Championship! In an intense final that ended 0-0, the game went to penalties, and after 7 thrilling kicks, Zainab B’s incredible 6 goal saves and Jessica B’s winning strike secured the victory. This is their second championship in three years—an amazing achievement!
Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this day so special. It’s moments like these that build lifelong memories for our tamariki.
