On Friday, 23rd August, 33 students from TPS attended the Kelston Cluster Inter-School Gymnastics competition

The teams consisted of four members, and the students competed in three events each.

Every student performed fantastically, representing our school and upholding our values.

Five students excelled in particular. George C, the only Year 6 boy to participate, finished 8th overall among the Year 6 boys in the Western Cluster.

The Year 5 boys' team went one step further, finishing as the top team in the Kelston Cluster! Joel M, Xan T, Rocco M, and Mack B made up the team, with the first three boys also finishing in the top 8 individuals.

These five boys have qualified for the Auckland Champs next Thursday at Tri Star Gymnastics in Mt. Roskill.

Thank you to all the parents who supported the event by driving and attending on the day.

A BIG thank you to Claire Iszard, who helped with the selection process and training at school.

We will be supporting the qualified boys next week and wish them all the best at the Auckland Champs!
