The focus for Performing Arts this term has been dance!

Alongside practising our items for the Junior School Production, classes have been creating their own movement pieces to perform for each other.  

Themes for the juniors included High Five Dance (a greeting dance), Name Dance - using letters of their name as inspiration for movement, Cork On The Ocean Dance, Balloon Dance, Paint Brush Dance, and Folk Dance.  

Seniors also choreographed their own pieces using ballet (basic positions), folk dance, sport, and dance elements like unison, mirroring, locomotive and non-locomotive movement!  We have definitely kept very warm this term in the hall by being very energetic and creative.
