Be sustainable and creative. We are calling young budding artists to let your imagination run wild.

Take an old mug from home or your local Op Shop and turn it into a masterpiece. Break, paint, add to, take the old, and make it new. Please deliver the completed artwork by 11 September. Open to children up to (and including) 12 yrs. This year we have decided to open the traditional Children’s Exhibition to all the family.

We have two categories open.

Children: Mug Show.

Find an old mug. Either in your house or from your local Op Shop and create whatever

you desire. You can add parts or even subtract parts. You can make an animal or a car.

You can paint of break. Whatever you can imagine.

Open to any children up to the age of (and including) 12 yrs.

$5 entry

Youth and Adults: Tea Bag Show

Find a tea bag and paint, draw, create. There are many examples online of the fine art of

designing on a tea bag. This will require some more detailed work and although this is a

smaller sized working space the possibilities are vast.

Open to 13yrs+

$5 entry

All work will be for sale with 10% commission going to the gallery.

All work to be delivered to Upstairs Art Gallery in Lopdell House, 418 Titirangi Rd, Level 1.

Open 7 days from 10am to 4pm.

Please deliver completed artwork by 11 September.

We will hold an opening on 16 September from 1pm to 3pm. Awards will be given to

outstanding work within the children’s category. Work remains on display until

8 October.
