Six Titirangi School Year 5 and 6 students were acknowledged for excellence in visual art today at an event hosted by our iwi, Te Kawerau a Maki.

Holly, Claudia, Annabelle, Ruby B, Brianna, Billie M and Indigo RM had their art displayed at Arataki and Ōkaurirahi (Ceramco Park) during the Matariki Celebrations.

Today's event celebrated their effort and the students were given a certificate - and their art back. Congratulations to Brianna for winning 'People's Choice' from our kura.

This was an amazing experience and something we will participate in moving forward - we would like to acknowledge Josie from Te Kawerau a Maki for her organisation, along with Auckland Council Parks & Waitākere Ranges Local Board for their support of the project.
