Last Monday, 3rd March, our TPS swim team took on the Western District Inter School Swimming Competition at Westwave Pool!

This year, seven schools competed: TPS, Woodlands Park, Laingholm, Glen Eden Primary, Fruitvale, St Leonards Road School, and Kelston Primary. With a strong group of returning swimmers from our 2024 Championship-winning team, TPS once again showed our strength in the pool. It was also fantastic to see some younger swimmers stepping up to anchor our team for the future!

TPS dominated the first half of the meet, securing a spot in the Championship round. It was an incredibly tight finish, but Woodlands Park School took the 2025 Championship title with 133 points, with TPS finishing just one point behind on 132! An amazing effort from all our swimmers!

At the end of the day, swimming was the winner, and just like in life, you win some, and you lose some. We are incredibly proud of our team’s effort, commitment, and sportsmanship throughout the competition.

A huge thank you to Mrs Booth, Mr Ramji, and Warren for coaching our swimmers, and to all the parents who supported the team in training and on the day. We couldn't have done it without you!

Now, we shift our focus to Inter School Cross Country – let’s keep the momentum going!
