Lest We Forget: ANZAC Day 2026 at Titirangi School

Andrea Thomas —

Due to the continued closure of the Titirangi War Memorial Hall due to renovations, the 2026 ANZAC Day parade will conclude at Titirangi School.

This year, we will gather once again to honour the courage, sacrifice, and memory of those who served our country. While some of our local landmarks are still undergoing change, the spirit of remembrance in Titirangi remains as strong as ever.

While the War Memorial Hall has traditionally served as our gathering point, the school grounds provide a wonderful space for our community to stand together in reflection. We encourage all residents - young and old - to line the streets and join us at the school for the concluding ceremony.

Why We Gather

ANZAC Day is more than just a date on the calendar; it is a moment for our village to pause and acknowledge the "Silent Files" of our history. Whether you have a personal family connection to the armed forces or simply wish to pay your respects to the peace we enjoy today, your presence is valued.

"At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them."

We look forward to seeing the community come together to keep the ANZAC spirit alive in the heart of Te Wao Nui o Tiriwa.
