As an end of year gift back to the school, Eric and the team from West Maintenance and Property Services Limited, have kindly donated a massive 500 litre deep freeze to our school.

Our old freezer was pretty close to the end of its life and wasn't freezing things properly. Our leftover Gala ice-blocks turned into a melted mess. Eric saw this and stepped in like a true modern-day hero and a brand new freezer was delivered the next day - this one twice as big as our old one.

This now means we can freeze all of our Friday ice-blocks as well as sausages for events like the Gala and Matariki.

Eric and his team are tasked with keeping the school clean and tidy each day and they do a wonderful job. Thank you for always looking after us!
