Well done to the students who fought hard and played brilliantly at the Western Districts Inter-School Hockey Tournament.

Recently, we entered four teams into the Western Districts Inter-School Hockey Tournament at Henderson High School. Our kura hasn't taken part in this event for nearly ten years, so Mrs Booth and Mr Ramji weren't quite sure what to expect.

To say we are super proud of our students would be an understatement!

Titirangi was the only school in the tournament to have two teams reach the semi-finals. The Boys' Surge team fought hard all the way to the final, securing a fantastic second-place finish after extra time against Konini School. Meanwhile, our TPS Girls' Blaze team played brilliantly, taking 4th place after a tough playoff match against Kelston Primary.

While the results were fantastic, what impressed us most at TPS was how our children represented our values. They worked hard, supported one another, and treated their teammates and opponents with kindness and respect. For that alone, they are absolute winners.

A massive thank you to all our parent drivers and helpers. Special mention to Noriko S, Amanda D, Holly C, Delpreet S, Kevin K, Angela B, and Heidi M, who stepped up to coach our teams—freeing up our teachers to cheer loudly from the sidelines.
