Are you looking for a holiday project to do with the kids?

In Term 2 each of our Year 0 - 2 class will be building bug hotels as part of their specialist Environmental Classroom time to house Titirangi Primary School's bugs in style!

We are looking for volunteers to build very basic wooden frames for the hotels - 8 in total. They must be free standing, at least 1 metre high, and have shelving/compartments. They can be A-frame or rectangular!

We would also love the following items to be donated

• bamboo

• pinecones

• small logs with holes drilled in

If you have materials at home to construct the hotel frames that's great, otherwise please get in touch with Dana danat@titirangi.school.nz and we will provide you with what you need.
