Pottery Wheel Kids Holiday Program

Office Admin Titirangi School —

Pottery holiday programs at the Wood Fired Pottery School in New Lynn - Monday to Friday 2 - 3.30pm

A fun and creative school holiday activity!

Join us for afternoons (2:00 pm – 3:30 pm) at the Wood Fired Pottery School.

Each session offers a hands-on introduction to working with clay. Kids will learn about clay, kilns, and pottery wheels while creating something unique to take home (once dry and fired)

$45 per child, per session
(Includes clay, glaze, and firing costs.)

Parents are welcome to drop off or stay and relax in the creative studio space.

What to bring:
Messy clothes! Think, an old shirt.. worn backwards for arty vibe.

What we do:

Each class begins with a quick studio tour and clay safety briefing. Then, we dive straight into shaping on the wheel and decorating.

Outcome:
Every student will make and decorate a special ceramic artwork, finished in our wood-fired kiln to be picked up at a later date.

Wood Fired Pottery School is an artist-run pottery studio based in New Lynn, Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland).

Classes are taught by Jack Tilson, and the school is managed by Kristal Gallagher.
