Last week, we celebrated another amazing TPS Future Ferns Winter Season at Te Pai Courts with Waitakere Netball!

This year, 7 teams represented us with pride—4 teams (Year 1/2 and Year 3/4) playing on Thursday nights and 3 Year 5/6 teams playing on Monday nights. The heartwarming prize-giving event was filled with community spirit, heartfelt karakia, and inspiring speeches. We gathered to honor the incredible mahi of our dedicated coaches, managers, and whānau. 

Each player was honored with a participation certificate and medal, and we’re proud to announce the trophy winners for each team:

 Most Improved: Avina R, Makaia M, Marceline S.W and Indigo R.W
 Player of the Season: Lucy N, Ella A, Matilda O, Olivia H, Indiana W and Alexis J
 Coaches Award: Mya R
 Most Dedicated: Bianca M

A huge thank you to our fantastic coaches and managers this season: Darren North, Ashleigh Cook, Laura Langston, Antonia Catton, Barbara-Anne Stenson, Kiran Ramji, Alice Perillo, Julia Story, Erin O’Connell, Anna Antunovich, Andrea Frires, Shelley Wood, and Clint Wood.  Your support and leadership have made a lasting impact on our tamariki.

This season has been a beautiful reminder of the importance of community—the village that surrounds and uplifts each player to reach their full potential.

We can't wait to see what 2025 has in store for our TPS Future Ferns!
