Dear Whānau,We are writing to inform you that we are in the process of placing your child in a class for the 2025 school year.

Our experienced teachers have carefully considered each student’s academic needs and social development to ensure that they are placed in a class that will best support their growth and learning.

We understand that this is an important decision, and we want to assure you that our teachers have put a great deal of thought into these placements. We believe that these classes will provide a positive and nurturing environment where your child can thrive.

The main consideration is putting together students that will bring out the best in each other. In some cases students may be split from peers if they have had two or three years together, to give them the opportunity to grow and develop new friendships - we know this is a skill they will need in intermediate school and beyond.

Friendship groups will continue to stay connected through break times, syndicate activities, trips, sports groups and shared lunch times
