Whānau Picnic
Last week's Whānau Picnic was such a fun afternoon!
We were overjoyed to see so many families, including the heartwarming return of past pupils who joined in the fun and games. It was especially lovely to watch our future TPS students enjoying themselves alongside their older brothers and sisters.
A huge thank you to our incredible staff who worked tirelessly on the sausage sizzle and ice-cream stand, and the brilliant team who ran the games, and those who kept everyone safe poolside as lifeguards.
We're also incredibly grateful to FreshChoice Titirangi, Sanjesh and his team, for their generous support of our school with the donation of ice-creams, sausages, and bread. You're truly invaluable to our kura and wider community.
Finally, thank you to Mary Shawand Barb Whelan - from Barfoot & Thompson Glen Eden for their support of our Kura. Their 'Guess How Many Lego Pieces' competition was a huge hit, and we're excited to announce the winner with prizes delivered next week.
In times where often the news is filled with the not so positive, our TPS community who filled the field made for such a happy event where families could connect together so relaxed, enjoying chatting and getting to know each other. This event truly exemplified our values - manaakitanga (respect) and whanaungatanga (connecting together).
