Curriculum - 'How I stand in the world'

Last year we looked at 'Where we stand in the world'.  Making our own environment more our own and finding out more about our local area.  This year, 2017, we will take  a look at how we interact more with our environment and all living things.

Encouraging our children to be courageous and proud, enabling them to become lifelong caring individuals who want to make a difference.

Our first camp in Term 1 will be on the East Coast where the children will sleep in tents and tackle a number of challenges and experiences. 

With the purchase of Chrome Books for all of the children, Term 1 will also be a steep learning curve for us as we use technology in efficient ways to aid our inquiries. 

We are fortunate that two other teachers will be with us in Term 1 so that a more dedicated junior and senior programme can be delivered.  With 12 beautiful children to begin the year, we look forward to receiving our new entrants later in the year.  

We look forward to another rewarding year with this special community and wonderful children.
