Our teacher came in one day and asked if we wanted to play in a rippa rugby tournament in town.

We all said yes apart from the two youngest kids who got the day off.  Mrs Phillips told us that we would have to start training if we wanted to play.

When we got to the fields we found our teammates, put on our team shirts and got ready to play. When my team got on the field, we got in a line ready to defend but as soon as the other team passed the ball they ran straight through our line and scored a try. The game went back and forth but in the end, the other team scored more try's than us so we lost. My team won 1 of 3 games and sadly we didn't get into a semifinal.

After the tournament, everyone was so tired so we went back home for what I think was a well-earned rest.  Actually, some of us had to go to Netball practice and Rugby Practice.  No rest for the wicked!
