'I'll give your a hand'. Great to see the older students sharing their skills with the younger students. (2017)

Natural Carpenters at work at the new table.
If ever there was a place to sit back and watch children at work in their natural environment, it is here at the carpentry table.
Three 5 year old boys are creating a dog house each for 'Skipper' after the story they had just read, and there is hardly a missed hit amongst them. These little boys have come straight off the farm with skills you and I would only dream of having. This area of play provides such a wonderful platform for the slightly older children to support and collaborate. I marvel at the good hearted banter that goes on between them all. They all are succeeding in this creative and busy little hub in our small wee school.
