Every year, we have a blood donation drive and encourage senior students to consider this form of service.

The Kavanagh blood drive is on Tuesday 9 August and students over the age of 16 are encouraged to think about whether it is something they could do. A van comes from the Donation centre on Crawford St and picks them up, then drops them off again afterwards. 

The Year 12 and 13 students had the eligibility criteria discussed with them this week and it was wonderful that all 18 spots were taken within minutes with a reserve list if illness etc strikes at the time. It is a reminder of how service-oriented many of our students are.
